Frequently Asked Questions

We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has made this academic year both unusual and challenging. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this rapidly evolving situation. Our priority remains the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. This survey will include questions about your overall campus experience as well as how COVID-19 has affected you. Thank you for your continued hard work, patience, and flexibility during this extraordinary time.

How do I take the survey?

It’s easier completed on a PC or tablet than on a mobile phone. Please click HERE and log in with your Active Directory (AD) username and password.

When can I take the survey?

The survey is open from April 21, 2020 until August 4th, 2020.  The earlier you take the survey, the greater your chances of winning a prize. This is because everyone is eligible for the grand prizes of the Beats Headphones, $250 Visa Gift Card, and skateboard at the end of the survey period, but you’ll be entered in more weekly drawings the sooner you complete the survey.

What are my chances of winning?

Your chances of winning depend on the number of students who complete the survey. For our weekly prizes, we randomly select two or more winners. Names stay in the prize drawings until the survey ends; so the sooner you complete UCUES, the more chances you have to win!

Do I have to take the entire survey at one sitting?

No, the survey can be completed in multiple sittings.  Your responses are saved as you progress through the ~25 minute-long survey. Thus, you can log-in at your convenience and resume from where you left off.

Are my responses confidential?

Yes! Your responses to this survey are confidential, and the results of the study will be reported only as aggregate data. Any quotations from responses to open ended questions used in reporting will be reviewed to ensure that your identity cannot be ascertained.

Can I see the results of the survey?

Yes, you can see survey results once they have been processed and summarized. To view UCUES results, please visit beginning in the fall.
