Why Take the Survey

  • Previous surveys of graduate and professional students have made a difference!
    • The Triton Food Pantry was established in part due to findings from the graduate and professional student Well-Being Survey about health and well-being and basic needs.
    • Additional counselors were hired at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) based on results from the Graduate and Professional Student Experience and Satisfaction (GPSES) survey.
    • The International Students and Programs Office (ISPO) launched a volunteer GradPals Program that matches newly admitted international graduate students with current students so they can connect remotely before the fall term.
  • Did you Know?
    • The gradSERU survey is being administered at major research universities across North America.
    • UC San Diego is one of the only UCs to regularly solicit student feedback through a census survey.
    • gradSERU results will be used during reviews of graduate programs to help assess the quality of the program.
